​Learn to skate with the Skating Club of Lake Placid, using a curriculum developed by US Figure Skating. Basic Skills are the fundamentals of the sport. Establishing strong basic skills lays the foundation for lifelong enjoyment of the sport. Basic skills 1-6, Pre-Freeskate & Freeskate 1&2 skaters meet for 45 minutes, 4 days a week. There will be 15 minutes of practice time after the lesson. Arriving promptly at the start ensures full instruction and practice time.

Class Days and Times: Sunday 6:15-7:15pm

                                           Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday  6:00-7:10pm

                                           Includes Stroking Class

Cost: $200 per 11-week session, includes Christmas Show 

Additional skater: $150 per 11-week session

All Adult skaters must pay $45 Adult Learn To Skate membership fee in order to register for SCLP group classes.

​

Head protection/helmets are not required or supplied but are highly recommended.
