The Skating Club of Lake Placid offers a variety of programs for all ages, abilities, and interests.
Learn to skate USA and the Skating Club of Lake Placid make lessons easy and fun. Whether you have dreams of becoming a NHL Hockey player, enjoy the recreational benefits of skating or have Olympic figure skating aspirations, this is the place to start. ​​

Falls Session Schedule
Snowplow Sam (Tots) – Ages 3 and up. Lessons times are Sun. (4:15 to 5:00), Mon., Tues. and Wed. from 5:00 pm -5:45 pm
Learn to Skate (LTS) – Split into 2 Ice times by level. Basic Skills (Includes Adult LTS).
Basic 1 through Basic 3 Sun. 4:15 to 5:00, Mon., Tues. and Wed. from 5:00 pm -5:45 pm
Basic 4 through Adults Sun 5:00 to 5:45, Mon., Tues., and Wed. from 5:45 pm to 6:30 pm
Aspire - Sun. through Wed. 6:30 pm to 7:30 pm (Sun will focus on Dance) All age groups.
Coffee Club – Adult Skaters Only Ice times are Mon. and Thurs. from 10:00 am -11:30 am (lessons available 10:30 to 11:30)
Learn to Fancy Skate – Coached by Olympian Karen Courtland Kelly. Wed. from 7:30 pm to 8:00 pm
Synchronized Skating – LTS and Aspire Skaters – Skater must be enrolled in a paid group program.
Lessons are Sun. 5:30 pm– 6:30 pm. Weekly attendance is mandatory.

We offer tots instruction for skaters under 6, Basic Skills group lessons for beginner children, Adult group lessons, Aspire programming for advanced skaters, Adult Coffee Club social skating twice a week, and Adult/General Practice Ice every evening.
